Quem tem animais muitas vezes fica com medo de contratar dedetização. Nesse sentido uma série de cuidados devem ser tomados pela dedetizadora, cada cuidado especifica para o tipo de produto a ser usado.
Para desratização com iscas, por exemplo, o perigo de envenenamento de animais é mínimo, porque a isca de ratos é extremamente amarga e seu gosto é insuportável para os animais, exceto pro rato que não tem paladar para amargo.

Onde há crianças pequenas, pessoas com alergia ou terceira idade há cuidados adicionais também. A aplicação pode ser feita com produtos ainda menos agressivos. Há linhas de produtos de dedetização que são feitas voltados para esse público. Custam um pouco mais mas certamente valem a pena.
